After rebuilding my gearbox and fitting a different rear axle, I need to have the prop modified.
I have been told I need some type of rubber in it to make things easier on the gearbox.
What are you guys fitting for this?

See the big long fat one, that's a rubber TRT propshaft , whilst the one at the front still attached to the box is a standard one
basically puts a bit of "give" in the drivetrain to be a bit bentler on the gearbox

I think that's what I need.
Some BMWs use rubber donuts,
but I am not sure I've got room for one on my car.
I will speak to my local prop people and see if they can do the rubber sleve one.

I would be a bit wary of your local man unless he is 100% clued up on TRT props. People who have lots of experience of making TRT props for BECs are 'Dunnings and Fairbank' or 'Bailey Morris'.
Be a bit wary of rubber donuts too. The ford one on the MT75 sierra prop has a record of disintegrating when it's old and provoked with too much power. And a loose front end of the prop is the sort of excitement you can do without.
