Just a heads up to let you all know we have put up a big update on the G2 build at www.facebook.com/abperformanceltd nearly there now - should have
the car on the floor over the weekend ready for testing the week after. Big thanks to all who have lent their support and encouragement during the
redesign, it has been much appreciated
Regards
Andy
Remember and get its name changed to the 'Chuck Norris'!
It's awesome!
I think we could make that the special edition Version Scootz
Meant to ask about your steering column on FB... how much does it collapse by?
Hi Scootz
The race version doesn't as we have a central input on the rack and an offset path to the column avoiding the issue of intrusion, for those mad
enough to go road legal we use a system similar to the old sierra
I've been following this on facebook with great interest. It is simply stunning workmanship and design!
A-ha! That'll be why the Dallara rack I have has an offset pinion and a non-collapsable column!
I guess the path of the pointy-bits travel would just about miss my head!
That said, do you have any pics if your collapsible one? I may be interested in one if its quite slim and neat.
Scoots I have some drawings of it which I will post up from work - haven't built one yet as no one seems to want to put one on the road, Dave
glad you like the build - there's a lot of years of my life in that car!
Andy
Thank you!
im coming down to 1st RGB race next month so will pop in and say hello. might even stretch to a coffee to say thanks for the cojntinuous phone calls! good luck mate, car looks superb
Yep awesome build so far andy, can't wait to see the machine tomorrow. Its almost a shame to have to cover all of that superb engineering work
under the bodyshell!

awesome build Andy you just have far to much skill lol well done its very cool the face book page
Thanks for all the comments folks, as far as the future Fesy I would like to do a front engined car and a slicks and wings variant of the G2 Sabre, I am going to put the next Sabre through IVA apart from that I think I want a holiday
slicks n wings sabre with underfloor aero......... that would most certainly mix things up a bit..
looking at the engineering detail on the Gen 2 as it is - its streets ahead of the build/functionality of a certain manufactuRer of mid engine sports
cars..
go get em :-)
