I have had a look and cannot find any info on the 1999 busa with regards to the clutch switch. I am sure it must have one but can anyone tell me the
pin outs and wire colours from the ecu so that I can do the mod?
I have also come across one bit of info that says you do not need to do this on this uear of bike?
any help would be great.
Stop fiddling with it (the wiring) - it was working just fine!
On a gen 1 busa wiring harness, I was advised to earth the yellow and black (i think) wire on the starter solenoid which would bypass the clutch switch. We had all the other sensors and switches sorted to allow the engine to run but it wouldn't crank. So earthed that wire to bypass the clutch switch which we had forgotten about and it cranked.
it does work very well, just got an FTD on my second event yesterday the car is fantastic and turns in so well, so much better than my striker ever
was
Not going to touch it but interested if it does need a clutch switch or has the mod already done, on my Jedi it was not down and it lost 500rpm per
gear because of it
