Show me your BEC gear linkage mines rods but keep going out of adjustment.
Mine consists of a rod from the paddle to a bell-crank then another to the gearbox. Bell-crank has bushes on it's pivot and the second rod has
left and right hand rod ends to make adjustment easy. Never needs adjusting unless I've had something apart.

Hmm, no pics but.. mine was a rod from the lever forward to a pivot...
The pivot was a piece of tube, between two brackets welded to the engine cradle, with a arm at each end set at 90 degrees to each other with a rod
going down to the selector arm on the engine.
All 10mm rods with 8mm rose joints if I remember rightly... windscreen wiper mechanism of a Leyland National single decker.
That make sense? if not gives a shout and I'll come over and have a look and explain it!
Liar, heres a pic, not very good cause it was the prop angle I was worried about, but, you can see the lever with the rose joint against the tunnel
with the rod going up to the pivot and the rod going back down to the gearbox.
Here's my modified Megabusa shifter, used an AB Paddle, and made up a solid rod linkage by bending a bar into shape between the original linkage
and paddles. Works well. Much better than a Cable type linkage.

How is it that it keeps going out of adjustment? Something must be wrong.
Too much force on part of it, or something is slipping (arm on gear selector)?
