Need to sort out a propshaft from my zx9r powered striker.
On a tight budget so what's the best option.
Plan is to
1.work out the best position for the centre bearing.
2.weld a plate across the transmission tunnel section of the chassis and bolt the bearing into position.
3.measure either side of the centre bearing and get pair of propshafts made up with the correct flanges on either end.
Anyone used a ford transit centre bearing.
got one here you can have for £50 collected, for sierra rear diff and bec splines. think theres pictures in my archive
U2U sent Marco.
Looks like an MK modd'd one?
If not sold I'd be interested

Still here, cfc999 has chance of a new one I believe
total length is 1420mm
length to mounting bracket centre from diff end of prop is 900mm so the short end is 520mm, engine end is a sliding joint

Cheers, can you concur its an MK one and check the length please.
If its a straight fit I'll have it. If I have to have it modified its not worth it as I have other options
I have one i have just removed from my Westfield with a ZX9R engine, even have the prop to bike spline adapter too. il get it measured at some point
next week if you are still looking for one???
Thanks
Tony
I've got a prop but it needs quite a bit of modification to make it work so yes could be interested.
Cheers
Chris
