Hi All,
I have the trackday silencer from MK fitted to my Indyblade.
The car is nice and quiet so shouldnt give me any issues when I get it on its first trackday later this year,
I would however like a bit more noise when using on the road.
Is there a standard option to swap over too to make a bit more "yobbish" when the mood takes me?
Will this create any issues re: fuelling too - I also have the AB airbox to fit and the carbs are already dynojetted.
No "standard' on these cars
Just find yourself a nice slip on silencer in the right pipe diameter
Scorpion/micron/race
Make your self a bracket to support it
Done
Shoulnt make significant difference to running
Put up a picture of your existing set up. You may need a short link pipe
Yeah you might find it needs re-jetting after any mods you do to it,more likely the airbox swap though rather than exhaust.
Is it running a open filter now?
Thanks chaps.
Currently it's running a DIY fibreglass airbox.
It works well enough, but I have the AB one to fit this week.
I have seen a thread on here where it seems the cars previous owner used the jets recommended by Andy Bates so hopefully it will run well once fitted.
Picture of set up:-
Think they are early MK pipes with a short link pipe .
Heres mine the links a bit longer d=but as long as it points the can in the right direction
