Keep It Simple
Just get out and push.
Actualy the number of times you have to get out is very few if you are carefull where you park.
take a friend, they get out and push......
seriously the cars aren't heavy so pushing isn't that bad. I've been in brooky's car and we've pushed it no problem (going
backwards, it seemed to go rather well forwards)
I agree with mk-ninja , just watch where you park it. I always try to find a space I can drive into and out of.
If you park on a slight incline then you can either just roll back, or if it wont quite roll itself, just put your arm out and push on the ground
I think in 3 years of BEC summer useage, I can only think of one occasion when lack of reverse got me into an awkward situation, and that was going
through the access tunnel under Goodwood circuit. Its a steep slope either side and I started to go down the ramp only to find another car coming the
other way almost all the way through the tunnel. He protested a little as it was a DeTomaso Pantera with very little rear vision, but when I explained
to him I didnt have a choice he was OK about it
ok guess the other half can get out and push ,coz she aint driving it thats for sure

I sometimes use that method of propulsion too. The only problem is the whining when its engaged, and for quite a while after as well

Cmon lads, all this pushing is no good help the man out with his question...... id like to know this when i go bike POWA
well my problem would be that the girly.other half isnt that stupid and what if you are alone?
any way i agree that an car like ours needs his own reverse and not nothing..
broken cars are for pushing aint they/??
i think i just let laser cut an sprocket
and use an small starter motor for the propulsion like an scooter or bike starter
but including the clutch pinion...
sow when in neutral aply power to the coil
sprocket engages and you give power to the engine.. and then you should go
maybe not fast
but you will go..
and thats enough..
Tks
