The 'lath master' at work knocked this up for me. All I need now is the 6mm alloy. Anyone know of a source? Rescued attachment Paddles.jpg

umm group buy?

i would laser 3 of them of 2mm alloy and just weld it together with small tig welds..

will be cheaper because 2mm is more common then 6mm sheet..

sow you could easyly find more "unused" pieces.

If you put a tab above and below the centre hole and bent these over 90°, could you not incorporate your pivot points into the design, or are you going to be welding those on seperately?

i got you a piece of alloy sheet today rich 2x2 £15,an off cut.i think you should be able to sqeeze 3 out of it.
ask your man about the carbon one pls dude .
chris g ,the rose joints bolt up to the paddle and then bolt straight to the piece of alloy he's had made to fit the steering column

Heres version 2:
http://www.richijenkin.co.uk/Paddles.EDRW

Side arms are now wider and the corners have a bigger radius. Designed to work with a 300mm steering wheel.

You'll need 'edrawings viewer' (free) to see it, from here:
