Can anyone tell me where i might find a Gsxr1000 engine K1 or someone who could recondition mine. Its drained itself of oil today and siezed up, although there is still plenty of oil around in the head and it hasnt blown itself apart. I think its probably nipped on the crank.

All sorted ! K2 engine with 6800 miles on arrived on a pallet yesterday. Old engine may be up for sale if i can recon it. Got it running, but its a bit noisy at the bottom end at high revs, so not taking any chances. Turns out a pipe had come loose on the oiler cooler and dumped all the oil within a few hundred yards.Wouldnt mind but i was only going round the block to clean the brakes its been garaged all winter.

Where did you end up getting it from?
