Can I ask - why would you ever want a servo on a BEC? You only need servo assistance on a heavy car, if your brake pedal is too heavy then change /
alter the mechanism, but don't add a servo, you'll lose a lot of feel from the brakes and will only mask a problem, won't cure it.

this is due to having a bad leg, i'd rather over brake it and know i can lock up than dot be able to get max brakeforce when i need it
Ah ok fair enough, didnt think of that scenario 
Still, not sure how you'd do it, you probably wouldnt get enough of a vacuum feed from a single carb cos its not like a car engine where the you
have a large manifold to take vacuum from. I'm not sure if there is any other way of doing it apart from vacuum.
It still might be better off and easier changing the pedal ratio etc to give you a light pedal without the need for a servo

already have that, really want to get the ability to really anchor down with ease.
taking it into account that i'll lock up with a heavy foot

lockheed do remote servo,s but are single circuit so you may need 2 or if you got 1 master cylinder have it mounted ala normal cars and use a vacume
pump as used on diesels,just a matter of having a pulley to drive it.
haven't found any info on the lockheed stuff - any ideas where i can get more info (apart from just a price)
Where would i run a pulley from? its not like there a fan belt on a BEC

what are you building with power steering?
ive seen them in mags,70,s cars had them,hunter,fiat 131,mini cooper etc,have you got room for a seirra type servo n master cylinder?the pump could be
driven off the prop as viper sugests

So: who can tell me how much vacuum a standard sierra or escort servo needs to operate? and how much air it needs to do it well?
