Electric paddle shift
pathfinder - 15/4/07 at 01:29 PM

Just thought I’d post a few photos of the electronic paddles that I have been working on lately, there are a couple of prototype sets doing the rounds at the moment but I should be able to offer a fully developed kit in a month or so!

Let us know your thoughts

Cheers
Thom

Looks superb and may be a much better option for my car with its VW Golf column over the manual paddles i was going to get from you.
Any idea on cost and does this include what i assume will be a solenoid at the gearbox end??

I have cheated a little bit and decided to use an off the self electronic shift kit (with throttle interrupt).
The kit is in the development stages so I cant put I final price on it just yet but I’m aiming for under £700, I know isn’t not locost but it is substantially cheaper than any other electronic gear change system out there!

I have a trickshifter, so I supose all I would need is the solenoid?
It looks the dogs Cahoonas !!!
Have you got any of your other kits available?
I am using a punto column and 290mm steering wheel.
I have already mounted 2 X 10mm Rod ends on the column.
These are top and bottom and are 75mm centres.

Chris:

Your paddles went in yesterdays post so should be with you tomorrow!

nitram38:

I always have a few of the original kits available and it should be possible to modify it for your setup.
