jackal - 21/11/07 at 04:37 PM

just a quick question, i'm in the middle of putting an 05 r1 injection engine in my stm locost, i'm using a gsxr1000 fuel pump, but will i need an inline fuel filter inbetween the two or is the filter in the pump...?

Erm, think i didn't make myself clear, the pump is mounted in bottom of the tank so the filter will be inline between pump and fuel rail, it will also be subject to high pressure so i don't think one of those small plastic ones will be safe...?
cheers.

I will be using the same set up so I am going to use a filter canister from a rover 200 inj.
It should be ok under pressure as it is made of aluminium.
