Hi
thought Id let everyone know I have opened the Bike Engine Car Centre in the West Mids official Build Agents for MNR Racing.
We specialise in full builds, Engine conversions and SVA's.
We can also finish your car if you are not in a position to do so.
I started off working from home but then suddenly had 3 cars on the go through word of mouth.. decided it would be a good move to get a small unit,
found one a mile from jct 13 M6.
I currently have 8 cars Im working on / building.

MNR Vortx Zetec
MNR Vortx Fireblade
MNR Vortx r1

were in the process of sorting an MNR demo car
I am also making finance available on the Vortx RT Inboard ie a brand new on the road car starting from £12,995.. a relatively unheard of option in
the Kit Car industry!
Its took off really well and I have a pretty busy start to the year with turn key cars and more engine conversions on the way..
We will be offering package deals on certain items next month and build it up from there.. I shall also be supplying exhausts etc
the BEC owners club site will be getting a major revamp asap to cater for both the club and workshop in one

Fantastic news Chris.
All the best with it and I'll have to pop down and have a look (get advice / work done ).
Is that caterfield the one Martin did?
If so, it really was an awesome looking track day tool - and that was without an engine in it.

Just to add my good wishes, for Chris and for everyone on here with the bottle to go it alone. I spent a very hard year last year getting my telecoms
and IT business going and it's still touch and go.
Partly for this reason, and also because I want a good job done, I always seek out people who sell me on the quality of what they offer and offer a
good customer experience. Chris did that in spades and when the job's done I'll be happy to act as a reference and let people see the car.
Mine's no garage queen so the new shiny bits will be Chris' doing.
If all has gone to plan I'll be picking it up in the next few days. Can't wait!
Just to add my best wishes for sucess in your new venture.
- Jim
Sounds like a great opportunity, good luck I'm sure there'll be plenty of business

Mr Darby
Would you care to comment on the quite obvious issues that your customers are having with your (lack of) service. an isolated incident could be
forgiven but its obvious that there are quite a few very unhappy customers of your out there.
Here
Here
For the record I was indeed an unhappy customer for quite a variety of reasons. However, he eventually agreed to settle for the cost price of parts
(he showed me his invoices) so on the face of it I've not paid for any labour. Obviously I'd have preferred things done right first time but
given we were heading for a full on dispute it was a relief to sever our relationship like that.
The fact he was willing to do that speaks volumes. If I also mention that I didn't know how much he'd paid for parts when I made the offer
and assumed he was actually making a proper margin....
