Hello & ZZR clutch question.
Regsmonster - 11/1/08 at 01:28 PM

Hello, I'm Richard and I am currently building with my wife Elaine, a ZZR1100 powered Scamp, yes Scamp**.......
I've done a search and it seems that a bike rear brake master cylinder is a nice, neat and cheap way of operating the clutch.
Can anybody point me in the right direction of what size cylinder we need? As I haven't got the original cylinder off the bike.

Cheers!

**It'll be another first for us, as we made the first Peugeot powered Scamp 7 years ago.

No idea about the question, but welcome to the forum

A BEC Scamp that's quite a crazy thing to do

Good luck

I used a Wilwood 5/8 bore one on a Z1000 with the same slave cyl., The bike clutch master is the obvious choice, but a lot depends on the pedal setup / leverage etc.
Welcome to the forum.
