hi,either A2 stainless steel or 8.8 mild steel BZP with nylocs!!!!!!!!just my 2 peneth

I would say 8.8 absolute minimum, with thread lock! Not a bolt you want coming undone/shearing in a hurry!

I wouldn't trust commonly available stainless for that application personally.

A2-80 are as strong as 8.8 mild steel without being brittle but ultimately you would use 12.9 m/s to be really sure

normal 8.8 with nyloc nuts on the end and nyloc liquid aswell if I was you

i've used cap heads 12.9 grade, as said you don't really want to skimp on prop bolts....

True - but harder bolts also don't knit as well as 8.8!

Ford use 12.9 grade for the sierra diff, if it's good enough for them, it's good enough for me!

agree with the Cap screw theory as that grade is used on the Driveshafts although Alley keys in my opinion are better than Torx as Allen Keys are easier to get!

12.9 grade threadlocked, i would say

8.8 does the job.

don't put stainless over there...

12.9 with high shear threadlock. and put low shear leadlock on the prop adapter nut.

what can happen if the prop comes loose. (btw that was caused by the prop adapter leaving the output shaft but loosing the bolts could have the same effect)
