Quite possibly interchangable, but Im fairly confident they're not identical.

I ordered a couple of gears for my 5PW and those were actually 5JJ parts, which suggests that they were revised for the 5JJ engine, otherwise mine would have 4XV part number gears (or 5PW if unique to my engine). One of my selector forks is also marked 5JJ so that was also obviously an evolution part for the 5JJ and later, compared to the 4XV.
