Can we really blame the initial poster, the "gentleman" in question has been lauded by the usual suspects on this site as the greatest thing since sliced bread sucking many into spending their hard earned & long saved £££ only to be ripped off by this cowboy, one who steals parts of peoples cars while they are in his care & undertakes work so dangerous that it has to be ripped out and completely re-done by others.

So i don't really blame the in initial poster for wishing to keep making people aware of this Cowboy's modus operandi

In short CHRIS DARBY "zxrlocost" is a crook who is ripping people off FACT.

Is it you Mark? How is Cyprus?

May I ask what the content of those posts contribute to the topic being discussed ?

Guys, don't you think this is just turning into another witch hunt, fuelled by the usual suspects who seem to take enjoyment from quoting chapter and verse of supposed legal knowledge and then offering solicitor's addresses to boot? These comments are obviously and simply designed to aggravate the situation and create a linch mob mentality.

Come on guys - the problem needs to be quietly dealt with between the two parties concerned ..... not posted up here so that the problem can be blown out of all proportion by 'someone', only to have certain inflammatory posts deleted later to leave yet another disjointed mess on the forum (the reason for the quote content in this post btw)
Hmmm 36 post count today (for reference) - the highest it has been for quite a while Mark

I was just wondering what connection you have to the situation you're commenting on, a customer with first-hand knowledge of the situation perhaps ?

If not, you reminded me of a poster who left this forum taking all his posts with him

That's all

Sorry but I think we should get to know if there is a 'rogue trader' out there.

If you were thinking of paying someone to do a conversion for you, you might be very glad to find out if one of the candidates didn't perform as expected on apparently a regular basis.

This way we can all take less risks with our hard earned cash...

Cheers

Mark

I think we got the message in the first two posts!!! I'm not sure exactly what this latest one is supposed to add?!?!

I was simply disagreeing with Razmans comment

BenB - 17/5/08 at 11:23 AM

I always think the best thing in a situation like this (which can quickly escalate and get out of hand) is to make one single post IE make a single statement of fact.

what was agreed and when and what was / wasn't promised and what was / wasn't delivered

Slanging matches and banging on about it just drag down the forum.

Say it once, say it good, let everyone come to their own decision then get onto the usual wibbling

From the original post I got the message that two people are unhappy with the work provided by ZXRLocost. If I ever think about asking ZXRLocost to do some work I'll bear it in mind..... surely legal threats and general complaining should be made direct to the person in question......

Nothing really, Just thought I recognised your signature. Didn't know it was illegal to ask how somebody was doing. what are you going to do? set your brief onto me.

Dragon-Performance-Eu - 17/5/08 at 11:34 AM

As said the "usual suspects" come out using the premise of defending a rogue trader. while infact their hidden agenda is solely to "attempt" have a dig at another user nothing more, as usual.......

My only motive (unlike a few others) is to make as many people (good hard working people) aware that a proven rogue trader is is stealing, lying & cheating good people out of money, if that is classed as a witch hunt so be is everyone is entitled to an opinion

Fozzie - 17/5/08 at 11:55 AM

Right...here we go again.....

Forum rules have been breached here.......flaming multi-posting etc........

If you have NO personal dealings with the trader concerned you have no reason to comment..........

If the aggrieved party has a problem.....take it up with the trader concerned off forum......

Yes...people have a right to know if something has gone wrong...but keep to the outline facts...and don't multipost.......(new threads all over the place)

If the guy is a 'registered trader' than the aggrieved ONLY should contact ChrisW, and let him deal with it.......it IS HIS site........

This thread will be locked........and anyone going back to edit their posts will be banned.
