Can anyone tell me where and how to connect the oil temp and oil pressure sensors from a Digidash lite to my R1 (5vy) engine.... ?

Cheers,

They are not standard fittings on the engine. You will need to make your own take offs. I have put my oil pressure (capilary) on the main oil gallery. I believe that the best place for oil temp is a boss welded into your sump pan.
I have a dual water temp/oil pressure gauge and I have put the water temp in the outlet pipe from the head to the thermostat

I drilled and tapedout the oil cooler nut works very well easy to do

One other piece of advice is regarding electrical oil pressure senders.
The vibration from the R1 has been known to destroy these pretty quickly and most people who fit them (like fluke motorsport) recommend fitting them remotely i.e. a flexi take off from the engine to the sender mounted on the chassis.

I've put mine in the same place as Nitram. It's where Yamaha test oil pressure. If thats not accessable then theres the same plug on the other end of the gallery.
