Some may remember the problem I had a while back after cleaning my carbs in thinners. Well after careful rebuilding and £160's worth of new fuel
jets I am still having the same problem of fuel passing the jets and flooding the inlet. If I turn the carbs upside down the jets close, and the fuel
pump stops OK. When in situ on the inlet the fuel pump is going constantly and pushing fuel up the emulsion tube and spraying into the engine at an
alarming rate. Opening the throttle results in four fountains of petrol across the garage. The fumes make me want to sleep, the problem makes me want
to cry and the presence of a spark is less desirable than Freddie Kruger!
ANYBODY got any ideas please??
I've now lowered the float height by 3mm to make the valves close early but this has no effedt, still fuel spraying into the venturi at an
alarming rate. Arghhhhhhhh!!

sounds like toooooooooooooooo much pressure,what pump you using?
too much pressure would seem very logical but it's the original bike pump and off the same bike too. Its mounted at the front under the carbs
using the standard hoses from the bike, in about the samre position as on the bike!!
