BEC newby question

Hi, sorry for the newby question, but
can someone tell me how a bike engine manages to drive the wheels when use in a BEC. I am planning a fireblade build.. how do you join the propshaft to the engine?

Sprocket adaptor bolts to the output shaft. Then the prop bolts to that then on to the diff.

Or a sprocket and chain on some of the midi/rear engined cars but for the Indy will be as above. Sprocket adaptors are about £50-60.

As above, the pic in the link should make it fairly clear. Think of the bike's front wheel being to the passenger side and rear wheel over to the driver's side with the small front sprocket on the gearbox in the engine bay pointing at the transmission tunnel
