MR2 Turbo vs greasy roundabout

Hi guys,

This is my 1st post, and a sad story it is too!

Lost the back end of my MR2 Turbo on the way to work the other week - dry road, not going overly quick. Arse went one way then t'other and back again - you know the story. Ran out of road and hit the rampy bit at the begining of a section of crash barrier. Got about 3 feet off the ground, managed a 180 spin while airborne before landing on the back left wheel in what should have been 2 lanes of oncoming traffic - nothing there - miracle! Shattered both passenger side wheels and damaged rear suspension cradle. Messed up front bumper, radiator exhaust and various other bits

Obviously this is all my fault - no excuses. I am very lucky not to have hurt myself (other than whiplash) or anyone else. It is interesting to note though, that I am aware of at least 2 further accidents which have happened on the same roundabout since my accident. I have seen large pieces of front bumper etc lodged under the crash barrier in the exact same spot i went over it. Hmmm.

Was only 3PFT insured, so no healthy cheque heading my way. Consequently I have a whole load of cool stuff for sale which I thought might be of interest to you good people I don't know if it is usual to fit the S3GTE lump into anything interesting? I saw a mini at santa-pod with one in the back - VERY impressive!

Really wasn't sure which section to post this message. Will put an ad in the "for sale" section too.

If you are interested in buying the car - as a whole, or engine/box type mechanical bits, please email me at sstocker@able.co.uk or call/text 07855479007

Oh well, we live and learn

for sale section is best for this sort of thing, commiserations on the accident, oh and an idea of your location would be handy..
