I was having a clearout and found that I still have a v5 for an mx5 I used as a donor about 2 years ago. It's on sorn and the car was cut up as scrap with ID plates removed and weighed in myself. The car never ended up being used as a donor and all individual parts found new homes.

Now the last time I got rid of a donor I just filled in the v5 scrapped section and all was well. However I see now you have to have an ATF certificate which obviously I don't have. Am I going to get in trouble If I send it in without the certificate? I have a few photos of it cut up as proof so thinking send these in along with a covering letter and hope they accept it?

I expect that writing and telling them its gone should be fine.
