Anyone used a BMW as a donor? Local scrappie's got in a 320i and I can have what I want for £50.

Wish my local scrappy was like yours.... Mine want £25 for parking!!!!.....well ok not for parking but I've yet to find anything cheap at my local scrap yard

I'm sure there was a thread a few months back about using a beamer for a donor.

If the rover V8 I am attempting to rebuild does not turn out ok then the next choice for me is a BMW 325i for the engine and gearbox for my Viento You can pick them up as donors very cheep.

See luego web site under customers cars and you will find a viento with a straight 6 BMW and Jag engine.

Im building a Locost, using the Nissan Silvia turbo lump I've got sat in me garage. I went to the scrappy for a sierra donar, but the only rear drive there was this 320i. I was thinking of the uprights, axle, rack, column etc, and taking the propshaft to mate the nissan front to a BMW rear. I was just wondering if anyone had any pictures of a top balljoint adapter for BMW uprights??
