For a seven build.
I've been told where there is a Saphire 2.0E "H" reg.
Engine is 2.0DOHC - Hmm not sure,
Rack is PAS - no good,
but don't know which gearbox it'll be or whether the front uprights will be any good?
Assume the back end will be non-LSD - I already have a LSD (4x4) diff.
What do you all reckon the g/box will be . . type 9 or MT75.
If I go for it, is anyone in the market for anything from it?
I'm told it was a reliable runner, just got major rust worm in the innner/outer sills
If it's dry tomorrow I'm going to have a look see.
Cheers for any advice.

G/box will be an MT75. good strong box.
Use the dohc... I am.
125bhp ALOT of torque
depends on what you want to do with the car.
Hiya.
If it did turn out to have a type 9 box, I could be interested in that.
Where abouts are you?
As said if its the Dohc it will be the Mt75 box.
Nowt wrong with either
But if the engine needs any work bin it as the bits are mega $£$£$£$£
But the box will go on the back of most Fords....
Huh??
I'm using a MT75 box out of a H-reg Sierra Sapphire, 8V DOHC. Bolts right up to my 2L Pinto, no conversion necessary.
If you look past the bits of pedals and clamps, you'll see the engine and gearbox, well and truly mated.

Yes. Many people posit the mt75 as an alternative to the type9.
BTW, should have the push-in style driveshafts, right? I need a set, if you get the car.
Let me know.
Thanks, -sm

Well, haven't got the car yet - appears the guy's not sure if he's selling it yet
I think he may later in the year when he realises that he can't be #rsed to weld it
Defo has DOHC and MT75, though couldn't see underneath to check diff/driveshaft types.
Will just have to wait, or see if another pops up
