It's looking like a 'real' car! I am happy.

This other image was taken June 14th. 6 weeks prior.

I just realised that Ive never seen any photo's of the passenger side of your car. Is there some thing that your hiding? Did you just not do it, and your just building 3/4 of a car? I think it's a conspiracy and you are in the center of it.

Or it could just be that there is no room to shoot from that side of the car so you shoot from this side, and my name just got changed to Mr Dewmass.

The fine talcum-like powder is EVERYWHERE!

Terrible stuff, but at least it's not itchy! I can hardly wait for THAT to start....

The reason you don't see the Pass side is because it AINT Done! I am concentrating all my efforts on finishing one side before attempting the other. Since the shape is still a bit 'fluid' in my mind it's best to not go chasing symmetry until I like at least one side.

Besides, I bought a really neat tool at Harbor Freight the other day that looks like a comb, but the teeth slide, and so I should be able to match the contour from one side to the other.

Almost eerie watching it take shape. The speed and accuracy say a lot for the computer design/cross-sectioning method you used

I added a photo above of my progress from 6 weeks ago. To me it doesn't seem like it's going fast enough. But I did spend a week in bed when I blew my back out... So I s'pose it is moving right along.

The new in-line air sander I bought makes quick work of the big stuff.

this is the color you should paint it.

Awesome progress, Steve. I also like amber or copper colours, they just look fast even without moving. And rather unusual too.

BTW, I also like those Porsche style humps behind the driver passenger, it sorta breaks up the whole flat rear deck.

Wow, quite dramatic how quickly it shapes up, unbelieveable! I think you are to the point now where you could just paint the foam, be done with it and drive on down the street. Forget that silly fiberglass stuff.
