Hi

Can any body recommend a good adhesive to bond my wheel arches to the brackets
my old ones where bolted on that's cause cracks and crazing in the gelcoat.

sikaflex
Is most commonly used
Very sticky and flexes, make sure and key well with super rough sandpaper on the wings and stays

As above, any polyurethane adhesive will be ok.
Tiger Seal is quite a common, but expensive one in motor factors.
If your brackets are flat bar drill some holes in them for the adhesive to go into,as well as keying and degreasing both surfaces

That's how I do it, but I weld plate on to the bracket and grind it flat to make the adhesive 'footprint' bigger

Würth 'bond and seal' is another decent PU

Most decent builders merchants should have one of these or a good alternative

I have just secured mine with sikaflex, works a treat, but said, make sure the brackets are clean and rough up fir a good key.

I glassed on some captive nuts (rivnuts used like Big Heads) which means I can unbolt my arches in a minute or so. Very handy and secure.
