luego is here to stay and seems to be a brand some other maunfacturers wish they owned !!

I have never said that i have anything to do with Luego. Its something that i would never ever want to be involved with.

Kit Car magazine somehow managed to intimate that without hearing from me, or even bothering to talk to me.

The only thing i have ever said, was at the time they went bust, was that if i could help the customers who lost out in any way, then i would.

Who in their right mind would want to buy a company that has gone bust in such a big way. Some of the suppliers will not want to touch you with a barge pole, and for ever more you'll be pestered with enquiries from customers who lost out who think you should sort out their losses.

Luego went bust for Ģ125,000. Have a look through the creditors list, and you'll see there is a lot of guys like you on that list, losing a few hundred pounds through to one guy who lost around Ģ7,000. They are not going to let it lie.

What would there have been for me to buy? Two products that i already have an equivalent too!

Also we have to look further then our nose.

Just put on the facts:
- Wy would darren want luego?
- Wy would he told rubbish tot he magazine?
- Wy would the magazine write this?
- Did the magazine interpretet the words wrong?

Dean says Luego lives on, i think it time to show that to the customers not?
( for example sended a mail but didnīt get an answer)

Darren some times in life you try to help people but at the end they donīt help you.

Its not that i have choosen side because Luego will be busy etc.

But i cant see the reason wy Darren would tell this to kitcar magazine...

anyway it canīt be a good magazine if it doesnīt visit this forum where luego has its own space and where they easyly could read that its now the buiness of dean etc.. also they could have thought about their readers.. who also say their word over here..

how can you write about this by knowing nothing?

Well - let's keep talking about FACTS Darren kindly offered to help out Luego owners with bits and bobs if he could! A very noble gesture and fair play!

He has NEVER said he has bought Luego, or intended to. However a few other companies did bid for Luego.

As a proud(ish) owner of a Luego - I would like you to kindly remove yourself (aka f'off) and stop dragging Luego through the mud.

Your opinion was very off (for those who didnt read the thread)

Kit Car Enthusiast - accussed Darren from GTS of wanting to own Luego and telling certain magazines that he did etc - he then slated Darren's product (fair enough that's his opinion).

But he was factually incorrect. Darren only offered to help Luego customers when Luego went bust in the few 'uncertain' months - a very noble gesture.

So - I have ABSOLUTELY NO PROBLEM with freedom of speech - but please don't come on here spouting bullsh*t - it just cheapens this board and great community
