Anybody had any good news stories at Insurance renewal time this year ? Mine has remained level ?

That is probably good?
Allowing for inflation etc.
I thought my tin-top premiums were dear at £350 fully comp per year (toyota 2.4ltr previa) until I realised my niece was paying £1200 for third TFT for a nova!

How much!!!! The nova can't cost more than £50!! I know it can be silly, but damn.

You must be showing your age if you are shocked!!!!!!!!!
I never realised the costs as I got older my premiums never changed much, but that was because I was getting older and my no claims getting better.
I am 42, my niece is 18 and a new driver.

My tintop insurance went down by about £150 this year. Strange thing was my renewal premium was £100 cheaper than any of the quotes I'd obtained just prior to it coming through.

I was that surprised I renewed with the same insurance company for the first time ever...

PS Think part of the premium coming down was becoming an old fart (turned 30 in Feb )

You must have had a hard life!!!!!

Not hard, just tight! And since I've always driven classics they're usualy a bit cheaper anyway. My first 998 mini was only £500 and that was with alloys and a stage 1 kit.

So size does matter!!!!!!
