Slicks( what size)
tony.g - 11/9/12 at 05:33 AM

I am running 185 60 13 tyres and want to get some slicks the same diameter.
Can anyone tell me what size I need and where to get them.
Thanks
Tony

Your present tyres have a rolling radius of (13"x25.4) +2(185mm x 60/100) = 552.5mm

Look at http://www.bmtr.co.uk for sizes. Radial tyres are expressed in metric sizes Crossply in inches - Your rolling radius is 21.75" approx

If it's used slicks you're after, there used to be an abundance of Michelin 16-54 x 13. (Formula Renault fronts) As far as I know, the British F Renault championship isn't running this year, so they're a bit harder to come by now.

I have done a google check and those tyres fit a 9" rim and mine are only 6" wide.
