Hi all
I am currently kicking myself really really hard. Took the new Furore for Sva this morning & would have passed were it not for the fact that I
couldn't prove the engine date of manufacture, I have lost the copy I took of the logbook, but with it being a 1988 Toyota MR2 AGE lump I thought
they would accept the fact they stopped producing the car in 1990 - they won't. Hence I need to contact Toyota GB to confirm the manufacture date
of the engine from the engine no.
Tried googling but not coming up with any contact details for Toyota GB - can anyone help??
Don't worry found it!

What a complete bunch of stars Toyota are!!!!!
Just rang them on 01737 363633 (ask for customer technical). They were able to immediately confirm the date of production as 21/1/88 & tie the
engine to it's correct chassis no., & they have promised me a letter in the post today (it's currently 3.13!!!). Now that is what I call
customer service!
I should now be able to book an earlier retest whoo hoo
Well that's good... Honda UK charge a lot of money for a letter of engine age.
