How much would a new driver i.e 17-18 have to pay for kit car insurance?

He may be best planning a longer build so that he's 21 before its finished...

if he can find insurance it may cost more that the car

Ring up 2Gether insurance and find out! Numbers in the advert at the top.

The best way to find out is get a quote, as it depends on so many different things

Yeah you get hammered but, it is still cheap when you compare it to performance!!

Insurance companies also understand the whole BEC thing now so you cant try and sneak down that route.

Use 2gether, they are bloody good at getting you a damn good price though.
