hi guys
a guy has contacted me about buying my car but he is migrating to italy later in the year so does anyone know the current situation with export of uk built and registered cars to italy and weather they can drive them on the road over there

Yes, but I assume Jack would quite like to sell his car and doesn't mind doing a little bit of the spadework if it helps with the transaction...

I think the same chap has contacted me about my car but I had already sold it.
I wouldn`t have had any problems really so long as he had an English address to put on the log book when I sent it off? after that it`s really down to the relevant countries involved & their laws etc?
If its the same chap he mentioned storing it for 2 mnths max? for him.

dont no if its the same guy i had on that wanted a copy of my v5 and mot so i told him where to get off ,also i think you can google the relevant info for export all sounded a bit fishy to me.

Would it not just go as personal possessions, part of his moving stuff, and be accepted? That's how it goes with people coming to this country (Canada).
