I had this problem post SVA when I chained to a MNR reverse box.

I think that the Dash switch can not be used on the assumtion that you must not have a white light on when driving forwards.

Not sure if reverse is compulsory.

I fixed a Microswitch on me Reverse lever.

The easiest option is to fit a proper engine and box!!

Car engines in cars

Bike engines in bikes....

I'll get my coat. Lol.

YAWN!

I think you're allowed a dash switch, but it must have a tell-tale light on the dash so you know it's on. I'd use a pretty big tell-tale rather than a tiny LED just so you don't forget it.

you could just put a micro switch on the lever so that when its in reverse the switch makes and turns on the light

Like that idea
Simple and sweet javascript:icon(''
Just got to figure out which way the lever is for reverse and get a bracket to mount it

i used the same switch that comes on the sierra handbrake to put my reverse light on. Really easy to install.
