Do you need tel-tale lights for indicators?

As above, I cant see it saying so in the manual. Anyone know for sure?

required standard number 4

4.
There must be a audible or visual tell tale fitted to indicate the operation of any indicators such that would not cause confusion to the driver (see note 1)

Yes, or a audiable warning unless you can see the front ones its on the first page-section 23

Cool, a beeping flasher relay is in need then!

If you DO want a tell tale, you only need one.

ie. it doesnt need a left and a right one

I mounted side repeaters in the headlight bowls for IVA

I was told by examiner if I could see both of these from the drivers seat I was told I didn't need tell tale,

But had one on the acewell as well

Will it be audible over the engine/wind noise? Don'tknow if that would count as a fail though, but why risk it.

You'd need to be a bit of a contortionist to be able to do this !!!!
