Hi Everyone.

On my westy build I am using the MX5 instrument cluster and column switchgear, so the only thing that needs separate switches will be the heated front screen, rear fog and the hazards. I want to use red illuminating savage switches for these and have them dimmed when turning on the sidelights and dipped beam.

I will have the hazard switch wired up so it flashes fully lit when pressed as per the MX5, but as the instrument panel has tell tales for the rear fog and heated screen, will I fail IVA if the switch light up fully when pressed as well as the tell tail on the dash?

As long as its clear and wont cause confusion then you should be fine.
