heres a good one for you, when you put your car in for a s.v.a. test with an adjustable bias bar fitted, as most of us have. they test the brakes from one extreme to the other. so if you were to have this set up and it wernt adjustable when you take it for the big test will they still try. its a retest most times i think if you use this type of setup
I question your statistics Billy.... how many have used a brake bias mechanism of any kind?
We certainly haven't and our braking is brilliant - even on the track!
Hi Billy
I passed SVA with a bias bar, you have to make it non adjustable though. I fitted a nut at each end and drilled and fitted a roll pin
Adrian
I have a bias bar and it passed on both extremes and hence a pass regardless.
what im trying to say is if you have a way of adjusting the bias when you take the s.v.a but you make it impossible to adjust it will they still try to test both extremes?? if it makes sence. i had to leave mine ready to adjust as i had no way of knowing what was the right place to drill and pin the bar
