Story on radio five live tonight :

A woman bought a moped that needed to be inspected at her local DVLA office, prior to its being given a registration number.

She was told to bring it along, and put it in the car park for inspection.

For convenience, she put it there overnight, so it would be ready for the following day.

when sh got there, it had been BLOWN UP!!!!!

Someone thought that an unregistered vehicle was suspicious (outside a place where plates are issued????) and rang the police. The police called in the bomb squad, and capow.

She thinks her insurance will pay out, but they dont know who to claim damages from!

Don't forget, second class riding is easier than first class walking.

It was a DVLA inspection, nowt to do with SVA. They just want to see the vehicle exists before they allocate a number for it, but it doesn't now .

is that the same moped that shut half the town centre of ipswich earlier this week? !
