I'm sure I saw on here someone saying that they had paid their road tax online... can anyone give me a website address to do this as I can't find anything on the DVLA website.

Cheers all

You do need your licence reminder (V11) coz it has a 'reference number' that you need.

Hang on. Does that mean you don't need insurance etc to get one? Bit of a flaw if you don't.

Nope its all down on their computers....one of the topics that started me on the 'Big Brother' is already working!
They will be able to tell from your reg no. if you are MOT'd and insured. There are new style MOT's and all insurers have to enter the cars/owners on a data base!

I must admit, it was very painless, and the tax disc was on the door mat within 2 days!

Oh great something else for the bent posties to nic

Well not really, the envelope looks just like the standard brown DVLA one that you get to remind you your car tax is due..unless 'they' (bent posties) want to tax it for you!
