Adjustable steering colum

I have done a search but nowt has come up, I can't remember but are adjustable steering colums allowed through SVA? Mine goes up and down but not in and out (oooh er Mrs!)

Oh mine's from a Sierra by BTW

I can't see any viable reason why not as long as it is secure when in position.

Dont get too comfy will you wouldn't want you falling asleep at the wheel!

can't remember who's it was but the +4 locost at boxhill last winter had an adjustable column Andy. the car had been correctly sva'd aswell.

My Avon went through SVA fine with an adjustable column that was adjustable (ie, not permanently fixed in one position).

What i should do is have a bet to see how long i keep the car after SVA!!

Hi guy's
My indy has adjustable steering column
It goes up/down and in/out as it would in the sierra,and it locks with the lever as it would in the sierra

No problem with sva
