Is there any requirement to have a tow ring for SVA?

i was very embarrased when i broke down at elvington and didnt know how to tow it, as there is no eye on mine. Ended up tying the rope to the wishbone!Must remember to sort that actually.

I'm toying with fitting a tow ring to my MK just in case I venture into the kitty litter at a track day. Has anyone done this? and where/how have they fitted it?
