Went to Wimbledon DVLA and managed to get them to issue my reg number and tax over the counter. I had to wait an hour so went and had a coffee but i'm not complaining especially as they said on the phone it would be 7-8 days. Had to settle for a Q plate as i did not have a receipt for the kit which i bought 2nd hand but i don't really care

Got me plates, got me tax so in the garage i go then out for a burn! WOHOOOO

I dropped my V55/5 and 627 forms into Wimbledon DVLA tonight. I am hoping for an appointment around 3rd/4th August (going on holiday this week).

did you fit an air filter and/or scoop?

I have no air filter but i do have some metal gause over the carb to stop ferrets, deer and owls being sucked into the engine

I will take some photo's when i have my 9"x3" front number plate fitted. The one i ordered came today but they sent an orange one instead of a white one..muppets! Photo's early next week.
