At last......bought a speedo healer and that was it. 3rd time lucky!
Went to Swansea to register, girl trying to help me said - "Ooh, i've never used one of these forms before!!" She put me on to the
inspector who said i'd have to book an inspection.....promptly fled and went to Cardiff instead who had me registered inside 30 minutes!!! Got a
Q plate though because i couldn't show receipts for my axle etc. etc.
Got home, fixed plates and now my battery is dead!!
Still, there now!!

Chris, the only advice I can think of is that if you don't want a q plate make sure you have receipts or the logbook for the donor parts!!! I
tried to wing it by putting the reg no of a sierra i had previously owned and i thought had been scrapped...the dvla guy tried to do me a favour but
it turned out it's still registered to a bloke in Barry...I was a bit red faced!!
He was very helpful though, it was really simple. Don't go to Swansea!!!

You realise that you have to take it to Donington, don't you? Absolutely no choice in the matter.
