SVA brake and clutch lines

I was considering having rally design make me a complete full length brake and clutch lines in braided stainless steel/P.T.F.E. pipe
Cost wise it's no more than me buying a brake pipe kit + copper piping + unions + tools for dong the job in the first place.

I presume I'd just have to have more fixings?

Yep, although a solid pipe still needs a fixing every 300mm so no difference really. I used braided flexi lines from mc to caliper and it is much easier to install, looks good and they work perfectly.

Speak to Russbost on here if you are thinking about getting lines made up.

Theoretically braided lines can still bulge a bit under pressure so copper lines would give a better pedal feel. Not sure how significant a difference it makes in practice- I suspect very little!!

If you're worried about braided hoses 'bulging' and losing pedal feel, just remember what all the top race teams use!

I would challenge anyone to tell the difference

i've used all ptfe overbraid from m/c to calipers, less joints to leak/make up and a friend of mine does a bit of spannering on evo rally cars which use the same, if its good enough for them its good enough for me...
