hi there, iam just wandering how long people find there tyre lasting on their kit cars, like how long/miles would a set of r888 do? im just wandering if i need two sets of wheels with a set of harder wearing normal tyres, or if the 888 arnt that bad at wearing ill just use a set of those, thanks al

In some cases the R888's last longer than the Locosts

6k miles is about right I guess. So you don't need another set of tires.

I have standard road tyres, the fronts wear about half as fast as the rears. The rears are presently 3mm so have used up 4mm in 8 1/2K miles

I do the rear 888's each year in under 5000miles with 3 or 4 track days added in. Fronts have done two years and will be good for another.
