Best Quick Release Steering Hub for your Money

As it says!

What's the best quick release steering hub for your (my!) money.

There's a lot of people who don't like the hex ones but I've got one on the single seater and that feels fine with no measurable sloppiness.

Regards

Wyn

I bought one of these... reasonable money and quite neat engineering... QR

Of course - you could spend £150 on a Works Bell ball-bearing chappie... absolutely rock solid - no play whatsoever!

How does the tube on that fix to the column? I take it you have to weld isit a seam arround the base of the tube?

Hi

The only one i use and fit is the SPA . Good enough for WRC WTC BTTC GP2 etc etc Works just fine on a kitcar .
And there is genuinely no play in them even after 8 years of use.

Cheers Matt
