Brake Master Cylinder
GrumpyOne - 15/6/09 at 02:52 PM

I am using the disk brake set up from my donor car (1998 Cosworth Scorpio 24V) for my Viento.
Would the brake master cylinder minus the servo also be suitable or do I need something with a smaller bore? If so what would you suggest?

Thanks
Colin

Your car is going to be very heavy at the front it might be worth considering retaining the servo and original master cylinder if you have room for it.

I'm using the Sierra master cylinder without the servo in my robin Hood with a 2.8 V6 fitted. The brakes are fine (and passed the SVA)
