Has anyone one site mounted the starter motor for the reverse on to the diff. housing. Any photos or information welcome. David

its a nice set up

although it looks like the starters alloy housing will fill up with dirt and water the way its orientated, perhaps a small drilled hole to let water out would help

is your car live axle? if so it wont work as it moves.

Possibly why he's asking about mounting it to the diff. Perhaps a cradle to mount the starter motor could be bolted to the diff flanges.
