Quaife ATB How to check?
Ken-J - 10/8/09 at 12:43 PM

Hi gents,

I purchased secondhand Quaife ATB for Borg Warner type68 axle of my birkin.
But i don't know how to check it.

My questions are
1.where is the weak (checking) point of ATB?
2.recommended oil?

Thanks in advance for any answers.

cheers,
Ken-J from Japan

The Quaife ATB differentials are extremely reliable, there are no real weak points.

Quaife recommend Silkolene Silktran SYN

Thanks all,

I will check 75W-90 SYN oil in Japan.
And I have opened the ATB, there is not problem about gears fortunately.

Tank you again.

cheers
