Diff output / drive shafts

Hi, has anyone tried fitting flanged / bolted (type B) output shaft to a push in drive shaft (type A) diff.

If it is a LSD unit then def no as the push in shafts are different lenths, if no LSD then i think it should work, someone will be able to confirm.
