Hi all,

Can anyone offer any tips on how to remove the handbrake cable from a Sierra drum backplate?

I've been fiddling about with a pair of pliers for ages and have had no luck compressing all 4 of the springy barbs to get it back through the hole.

cut it off cable
unless u want to use it...

Wish I could but I'm hoping to use it again. I've just had an idea though - I'm going to try using a miniature jubilee clip on the barbs.

i just squeezed the barbs and with a bit of a tug it came out no problem
